Dogue de bordeaux question female?

hi im a little concerned over the size of my dogue de bordeaux she is 1year old she is big but not as big as they look on the internet i was wondering will she have a growth spurt (if dogs have them) or is there anything im doing which could slow growth down like not a lot of exercise or the wrong foods???? thank u for any help mucho appreciated
